Restoration of Qutub Shahi tombs
Qutub Shahi Tombs is one of the most important heritage mausoleums of the world. Qutb Shahi Tombs located in Shaikpet mandal, Hyderabad represents a blend of Persian, Pathan and Hindu architectural styles. Preserving these tombs of immense historical significance, is an effort to uphold the heritage pride of the region. Currently the Government of Telangana is collaborating with the Agha Khan Trust for Culture which has undertaken this restoration project. This includes restoration of 72 monuments, in a period of 10 years and the process of restoration is being executed with remarkable progress.
